Brushing is the gold standard when it comes to dental care. Our staff would be more than happy to provide a complimentary demonstration of how to do this.
Choosing a Dental Diet – there are a few diets to choose from, but our number one recommendation is Royal Canin Dental Diet. We do provide a complimentary bag of this food for you to try when your pet goes home from having their dental cleaning done.
Oral Care Chews – C.E.T. Hextra Chews are our number one recommendation here. The mechanical action of chewing combined with the Chlorahexadine coating helps keeps your pet’s teeth healthy and clean. These chews can be given once daily.
Water Additive – StrixNB is our product of choice here. It is a pure water additive that aids in reducing the risk of Dental Disease and helps freshen breath. The best part – pets don’t even know it’s there!
With recent changes to restrictions on businesses, we are pleased to advise that effective May 15, 2020 some restrictions on veterinary practices have been lifted. Based on these changes, below are some important updates to our operating policies.
1. WE CAN NOW SEE ALL CASES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
This includes vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, and more!
2. SAFETY MEASURES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE
Continue our "closed waiting room" policy to protect our clients and staff. When you arrive, please remain outside the hospital and use your cell phone to call 519-759-3031. We will take a history of your pet's health and discuss any concerns. A staff member will then meet you outside to bring your pet into the hospital for an examination. The Veterinarian will call you to discuss the recommended treatment plan. After your appointment, a staff member will return your pet to you outside, and take care of any needed medications and payment.
Continue the use of credit cards as the preferred payment method.
