Dr. David Baker

Growing up, I always wanted to work with animals. While at university, my interest in medicine was piqued, so I figured why not combine that with my love of animals. Becoming a veterinarian was the natural next step for me. I got into the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph and graduated in 2013, I joined Park Road in March 2017. The staff are what won me over, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. They will go out of their way to help out, without any second thoughts! One area of interest that gets me particularly excited is surgery. It’s really such a team effort that goes into every surgery and the chance to work with the staff to help improve the quality of life of our patients excites me. A fun fact about myself is that I am a dual Canadian-Dutch citizen. Despite this, I don’t know any Dutch (but I do know German, I grew up in Germany for a number of years).
