Forever in our Hearts, RIP Lily

Dear Park Road Community & Lily Supporters,

We are terribly disappointed to announce that Lily was put to sleep this morning. After discovering her Heartworm and beginning treatment, Lily also developed cancer. Lily battled hard for us all but unfortunately her illnesses were too much to expect her to keep going.

Park Road Veterinary Clinic is deeply saddened by her loss and know she will be forever remembered as the courageous mother and fighter that she was.

We will miss Lily; may her legacy live on through her puppies and the PRVC community. In an effort to keep up with the fight against Heartworm we would like to continue fundraising in Lily’s honour as a memorial and to help save other pets from facing the despair of this disease.

Let Lily be a reminder to all of us that Heartworm can and does happen in our own backyards. Please remember to take the proper precautious to protect your pet… no better time than the present.

PRVC would like to extend a huge Thank You to our Community and all the Lily Supporters for your kind words of encouragement and your donations. If anyone is interested in donating to the Lily Memorial and Heartworm fund, please contact the clinic. There are no words to express our gratitude for the Park Road Community response to Lily’s story.

Forever in our hearts she will be.

Kind Regards,

Park Road Veterinary Clinic
